Job summary

RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation in Maryland is seeking a Lead Technician to oversee daily maintenance of our fleet of luxury motor coaches, minibuses, and commercial vehicles. You will be the shop's technical leader, ensuring repairs are safe, efficient, and meet the highest quality standards.

You will diagnose complex systems, mentor technicians, coordinate with maintenance staff, and maintain accurate repair orders while upholding DOT requirements and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–8 years of heavy-duty diesel, motor coach, or commercial vehicle maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license; CDL class B or A with passenger endorsement preferred.
• Experience leading or mentoring technicians preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily workflow of the maintenance shop, assign work, monitor repairs, and ensure timely completion.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
• Oversee preventive maintenance inspections per DOT regulations and company standards.
• Mentor and train technicians to improve skills and shop performance.
• Coordinate with Fleet Maintenance Manager, Dispatch, and Parts to prioritize repairs.
• Maintain accurate repair orders, maintenance records, and inspection documentation.
