Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Technician in Wintersville, OH to manage a fleet service team and lead daily repair and maintenance of trucks and refrigeration units.

You will oversee shift operations, assign tasks, and handle customer calls while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Ideal candidates have experience as a Technician or Supervisor, a valid driver's license, and are prepared to obtain required tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Obtain a toolbox and required tools.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing shift operations, ensuring work is completed on time and to high standards.
• Assigning tasks to technicians and managing the flow of work.
• Answering customer service calls, assisting with needs, and creating work orders.
• Troubleshooting and repairing refrigeration units using OEM software and diagnosing electrical issues.
• Performing PM services on trailers, refrigeration units, and APU units.
• Performing FHWA/DOT inspections on trucks and trailers.
