Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve issues with marine engines using specialized tools and equipment, with a strong familiarity with Mercury diagnostic tools and procedures.
  • Perform repairs, routine maintenance tasks, and conduct thorough inspections on both mechanical and electrical components of outboard motors.
  • Supervise a team of technicians by assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring high-quality work.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used.
  • Ensure service reports are up-to-date and provide necessary documentation to management or customers.
  • Engage with customers to understand their concerns, provide excellent service, address inquiries, explain repair processes, and offer recommendations for optimal performance.
  • Ensure the team adheres to all relevant safety guidelines, including proper handling of tools and equipment and compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in the marine industry, attend training sessions, and pursue additional certifications to enhance skills and expertise.
