Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical associate degree preferred.
• Manufacturing team leader or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to handle repetitive work with fast turnaround on production tasks.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate; MS Word and Excel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety rules and policies and ensures proper safety compliance.
• Leads and directs production workflow through departments.
• Monitors jobs to ensure quality and production standards.
• Develops and assists with training of employees.
• Looks for ways to improve safety, quality, efficiency and organization.
• Monitors KPIs and helps develop improvement plans.
• Participates in daily team activities such as safety and housekeeping.
• Documents safety, quality and equipment issues and informs supervisor.
• Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
