Job summary

Cargill in Kansas City, KS seeks a Process Technician I to safely operate basic production and material handling equipment, following standard work instructions to manufacture, package, and move finished products while upholding quality and safety standards. You will load, unload, weigh, and palletize products, monitor equipment, and report issues.

The role requires good English communication, physical stamina, and the ability to work rotating shifts, including overtime; comprehensive benefits

Responsibilities

• Operate basic production, packaging, weighing, and material handling equipment following standard work instructions.
• Load, unload, package, and palletize products to meet production and quality requirements.
• Monitor equipment and production processes, reporting issues to leadership.
• Perform basic cleaning, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks as instructed.
• Use simple computer systems or paperwork to record production and quality information.
• Follow safety, food safety, and housekeeping standards to maintain a clean work environment.
• Work flexible schedules including overtime, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts with advance notice.
