Job summary

Connecting Point Multimedia in the United States seeks an experienced AV technician supervisor to lead on-site installations and coordinate field crews. You will install, align, and test displays, projectors, speakers, and control systems, ensuring drawings and specs are followed.

The role requires reading professional system diagrams, supervising installation teams, and communicating site issues to the design team.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience completing technical installations of audiovisual systems.
• Working knowledge of complex audiovisual systems.
• Ability to read professional system diagrams.
• Service training on audiovisual equipment and industry certification(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the installation team on site.
• Coordinate on-site AV requirements with project subcontractors and GC.
• Communicate on-site issues to the System Design team.
• Install, align, and test displays, projectors, racks, and control systems.
• Document design changes on build drawings.
• Provide ongoing maintenance of AV equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot complex audio, video, and control system problems.

• Documenting design alterations on prepared build drawings
• Ongoing maintenance of audiovisual equipment and systems
• Troubleshooting complex audio, video and control system problems
