Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean of Fraser Valley is seeking a Lead Technician to oversee crews and manage mold remediation and water damage projects. You will control costs, production times, and ensure high-quality results while serving as the primary customer contact.

The role includes field work across residential and commercial sites, leading job sites safely, and providing reliable, professional service with a focus on timely, profitable project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in home services or construction.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter and team player.
• Respectful and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a crew; control job costs and production times.
• Lead mold remediation and water damage cleanup projects.
• Install preventative moisture control solutions and perform HVAC/dryer vent cleaning.
• Maintain project documentation (photos, contracts, etc.).
• Respond to emergencies 24/7 and ensure safety on site.
• Provide strong leadership to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The Lead Technician is responsible for overseeing and managing a crew, controlling job costs, production times, quality assurance and to act as the primary point of contact for our customers, in addition to being responsible for a company vehicle and all equipment for both commercial and residential divisions.

In addition, the Lead Technician is working Field Technician that regularly produces all mold remediation, installation of preventative moisture control solutions, in addition to air duct & dryer vent cleaning, HVAC coil cleaning and 24/7 water damage recovery services to our clients as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage the production, including hands‑on work as required, of mold remediation, water damage cleanup, installation of preventative moisture control solutions and HVAC and dryer vent cleaning per written scope of work
• Provide strong leadership to ensure successful, safe, timely, and profitable project delivery and completion
• Manage documentation on projects (i.e. photos, contracts, etc.)
• Respond to emergency recovery situations when needed, 24/7
• Work safely in a team environment
• Ensures all safety measures are enforced on job site

Qualifications:

• At least one-year experience in home services or construction fields
• Working knowledge of residential and / or commercial construction practices is a strong plus
• Must be a self‑starter
• Able to work efficiently and effectively in a Team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Working knowledge of basic PC operations
• Exhibit a professional, neat appearance
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
