Yancey Bros Co in Georgia seeks a Lead Technician to oversee shop scheduling, mentor peers, and coordinate parts and repairs for Caterpillar equipment. You will lead safety and efficiency while guiding the team through diagnostics and repairs.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, understands schematics, and can provide own tooling. High school diploma or equivalent is required with supervisory experience preferred.

As the Lead Technician you will be responsible for scheduling and productivity of the shop technicians. You will be the go to person for questions regarding difficult repairs and assist peers in developing their technical and diagnostic abilities. #YPS
To be successful in this position you should be able understand the requirements of time needed for scheduling work, keeping in mind current outstanding projects and employee schedules. You should possess a strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of schematics and diagrams, as well we have the ability to step in as a troubleshooter and instructor.
