- Supervise HVAC Field Technicians who repair, retrofit, and replace environmental comfort systems
- Train and develop HVAC Field Technicians
- Provide technical advice and guidance
- Assist with scheduling, organizing, and dispatching HVAC Field Technicians
- Assist the Service Manager with hiring and termination recommendations
- Maintain vehicles, including service records and repair and maintenance scheduling
- Work with the Project Manager to prepare for on-site installations and repairs
- Examine building layouts, anticipate difficulties, gather materials, and coordinate on-site work
- Evaluate area safety needs and requirements
- Provide feedback and recommendations to service technicians
- Assist with implementing safety policies, procedures, and training
Requirements
- Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in HVAC
- Working knowledge of HVAC products, systems, electronics, and pneumatic controls
- EPA-approved Universal Technician Certification
- Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 12 months
- No major or frequent traffic violations, including DUI, hit and run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
- Ability to work in a field-based role at customer locations
- Safety-sensitive role; additional drug screening may be required
