Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in structured authoring, content strategy, UX writing, analytics, and agile processes. You will lead reviews, mentor candidates, and help shape onboarding materials and internal wikis.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with five years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation for software products.
• Structured authoring (XML/HTML), content strategy, usability, and information architecture.
• UX writing, style guide enforcement, analytics tools, and agile development processes.
• Facilitating meetings, capacity planning, and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, publish, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for Amazon Q Developer features.
• Partner closely with software engineers, product managers, and other subject matter experts to assess documentation requirements.
• Test beta and released features by configuring environments, validating workflows, and reporting issues to development teams.
• Lead documentation reviews with stakeholders and provide UX guidance for user-facing text.
• Develop onboarding documentation and internal wikis for new AWS writers; coordinate scope and timelines with leadership.
