Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3+ years of professional experience editing technical materials.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required at time of hire.
• Experience editing DoD publications and handling sensitive information preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead editorial efforts for technical publications, reports, and white papers to ensure clarity and accuracy.
• Edit complex technical documents (5–100+ pages) for DoD standards and consistency.
• Apply Chicago Manual of Style as the primary editorial standard across deliverables.
• Coordinate with authors and editors on document preparation, formatting, and submission.
• Ensure compliance with DTIC submission requirements and publication workflows.
