Loch Harbour Group, Inc. is seeking a Technical Publications Editor to support editorial operations for technical publications, reports, and strategic communications within a federal program environment.

The role requires strong expertise in technical editing, Chicago Manual of Style, and advanced document formatting, with the ability to ensure clarity and compliance with DoD publication standards. This is full-time onsite in San Diego, CA, handling sensitive materials.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional experience creating, editing, and reviewing technical materials.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Strong knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style and DoD publication standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee editorial efforts for technical publications, reports, white papers, and strategic communications.
• Edit complex technical and scientific documents (typically 5–100+ pages) for clarity, accuracy, and DoD compliance.
• Apply Chicago Manual of Style as the primary editorial standard across all deliverables.
• Coordinate editorial workflows and guide authors through formatting and submission requirements.
• Ensure DTIC submission requirements compliance and support publication processing.
