Job summary

Align is hiring a Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale data center cabling and infrastructure deployments across the United States. The role focuses on planning, coordination, documentation, reporting, and on-time delivery within budget.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in data centers or IT infra, with strong organizational and client-facing communication skills. Travel up to ~50% is possible, with relocation assistance offered for nearby sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in data centers or IT infrastructure deployments.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, risks, documentation, and client expectations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and project management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage data center cabling and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.
• Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, risk logs, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with clients, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and resolve schedule or deployment issues.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, status reports, and closeout documentation.
• Track materials, equipment readiness, labor, project costs, and change orders.
• Lead client and internal project meetings and provide clear status updates.
• Partner with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure field work meets project requirements.
• Support QA/QC, testing, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout.
