Job summary

Meta's Risk organization seeks a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive large-scale risk programs across engineering, product, legal, policy, and compliance. You will design, build, and scale controls and tooling to keep Meta's products and infrastructure trustworthy at scale.

You will own end-to-end risk programs from identification to implementation and operation, collaborating with partners to ensure repeatable frameworks for assessment, mitigation, and evidence of effectiveness, while

Qualifications

• BS in EE, CS, ME, or related technical field or equivalent experience
• 12+ years in software engineering, hardware engineering, systems engineering, or technical PM/PGM
• Knowledge of software and hardware development for large-scale hardware readiness
• Excel at clearly communicating complex technical investments simply and understandably
• Experience delivering complex technology programs and products from inception through delivery
• Knowledge of understanding user needs, gathering requirements, defining project scope
• Experience working across multiple teams and time zones with initiative and leadership
• Experience defining and optimizing engineering processes at scale
• Experience building cross-functional relationships and navigating complex challenges
• Experience solving complex technical problems in large-scale systems (root cause analysis, capacity planning, design trade-offs, risk assessment)
• Experience communicating at the executive level and influencing leadership
• Knowledge of AI/ML and scaling distributed systems
• Understanding privacy, security, or regulatory compliance domains applicable to large-scale systems
• Proven ability to identify opportunities and drive risk management and infrastructure for large-scale AI compute systems

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead program teams to ensure alignment and objectives
• Collaborate with engineering, product, legal, policy, and compliance to define requirements and roadmap
• Create and implement communication strategies to share status, challenges, and risks
• Manage cross-functional dependencies, adjust scope/timeline/resources as needed
• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of programs from design to post-launch support
• Establish and track metrics, quality benchmarks, and KPIs
• Evaluate long-term risk and compliance challenges with engineering leaders
• Drive product strategy to align with company initiatives
• Lead process improvements and automation to reduce manual effort
