Job summary

OpenAI is hiring a Technical Program Manager to lead end-to-end execution for critical AI deployments across strategic cloud partners. You will own technical roadmaps, drive launch readiness, and coordinate across OpenAI and partner teams to deliver scalable, well-governed implementations.

The role is based in San Francisco, CA, with a hybrid work model (3 days in the office per week) and relocation assistance for new employees.

Qualifications

• Lead end-to-end execution for major cloud partner programs spanning deployment and integration.
• Own integrated technical roadmaps across OpenAI and partner teams with milestones and dependencies.
• Own launch readiness with checklists and go/no-go reviews.
• Serve as the primary technical interface to partner engineering organizations.
• Communicate status, risks, and decisions to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution for major cloud partner programs spanning model deployment, product integration, operational readiness, launch follow-through, and partner platform adoption.
• Own integrated technical roadmaps across OpenAI and partner teams, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and resourcing.
• Own launch readiness across cloud partner platforms with checklists, blocker tracking, and post-launch follow-through.
• Act as a primary technical interface to partner engineering organizations, coordinating deployment and incidents.
• Drive alignment across multiple teams to ensure scoped, sequenced, executable deliverables.
• Provide clear reporting on program status, risks, and decisions for senior stakeholders.
• Convert open issues into prioritized plans with owners and deadlines.
• Help build repeatable development and launch pipelines for OpenAI models on partner platforms.
