What's the role?

Plans, coordinates, and actively manages the IT delivery plans for complex, cross-functional technical solutions that generally span multiple technical products. Manages the end-to-end plan, including all changes needed to technical products in support of initiative outcomes. Projects often involve network, server, software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment, and similar tasks.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Accountable for aligning one or more large, complex programs consisting of multiple efforts.
  2. Makes connections across teams and work streams to identify and facilitate interdependencies.
  3. Defines the program structure and creates a unified plan to deliver on the program objectives.
  4. Drives clarity on objectives, priorities, and measures.
  5. Identifies, assesses, and mitigates program risks and issues, and removes impediments.
  6. May lead or mentor program managers.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience.
  • Five or more years of program management experience in technology and/or business functions, with knowledge of program management methodologies & governance.
  • Experience with project management methodologies & SDLC, and familiarity with project management / agile tools.
  • Financial and team management skills.
  • Understanding of software development, testing, implementation, and technical concepts.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and business leaders.
  • Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives using various delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile, lean, scrum, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity, a desire to learn, ask questions, and become a subject matter expert.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and provide thought leadership.
  • Capability to solve unique problems with broad business impact, requiring innovative thinking.
  • Influences resource allocation and program direction within departmental policies and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex or sensitive information and build consensus.

    Compensation Range:

    Start: $102,060.00

    End: $189,540.00

    Geographic Specific Pay Structure:
