Job summary

Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Lead Technical Product Manager to define scope, drive cross-functional teams, and translate business needs into technical artifacts. You will develop multi-year roadmaps for related products and oversee data quality initiatives.

Responsibilities include creating dashboards and analytic reports, managing data migration, enforcing data governance, partnering with legal and security for compliant handling, and coaching agile teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a related engineering field and 6 years of aligned experience.
Experience with agile delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) in institutional finance.
Experience with BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, Looker for data analysis and reporting.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, success criteria, schedule, budget, and risks.
Coordinate cross-functional teams through initiation, development, testing, deployment and closure.
Lead data discovery, source data, and define data quality KPIs and governance.
Create dashboards and analytic reports for decisions and data quality monitoring.
Oversee data migration planning, reconciliation, and remediation of exceptions.
