Job summary

Instrata is seeking an experienced technical Project Manager to oversee and mentor teams in the Virginia Beach area. You will be responsible for leading projects in structured cabling, audiovisual, and security systems, ensuring quality and satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 7-10 years of relevant project management experience and strong skills in communication and budget management. The role emphasizes leadership and professional development within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience managing large-scale, multi-discipline low-voltage or mission-critical construction projects.
• Proven success leading teams in structured cabling, audiovisual, access control, or RF/DAS environments.
• Experience mentoring or developing junior project managers or field leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent Division 27/28 projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Coach and support junior project managers.
