Job summary

All Access Media is seeking a Technical Director to lead the technical execution of live and recorded productions in Chicago. You will supervise crews, manage multi-camera switching, and ensure high-quality graphics, audio, and media playback across TV, streaming, and digital platforms.

The role requires close collaboration with producers, directors, and creative teams to translate concepts into reliable technical plans and scalable workflows. On-site contract role in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising technical crews in fast-paced live productions.
• Proficiency with broadcast switchers, routing, graphics, replay, intercoms, and audio consoles.
• Experience with streaming platforms, OTT workflows, and digital distribution standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and calm, decisive judgment under live-production pressure.
• Relevant technical degree or equivalent professional experience in broadcast or live events.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution of live and recorded productions, including multi-camera switching.
• Coordinate control room workflows and ensure seamless graphics, audio, and media playback.
