MACH-20 is seeking a Lead Technical Advisor to support a government program manager on a cutting-edge research program focused on the thermodynamic control of thin film growth.

Relevant Areas of Expertise

• Inorganic materials and chemistry
• Thin film deposition and epitaxy techniques
• Broad knowledge of material science and experimental design

Responsibilities

• Analyze emerging science and technology R&D opportunities through literature review, data analysis, and outreach to the research community
• Develop briefing materials and documents for program approval
• Program management at all stages of the program life cycle - BAA drafting, proposal feedback, interaction with proposers and performers, meeting organization & participation, transition partner and industry partner engagement
• Lead performer assessments to analyze progress, assess risks, develop management strategies, and communicate findings
• Technical evaluations and guidance on briefings, and other performer communications
• Coordinate and attend program reviews, site visits, and field tests
• Program administration - develop technical analyses, identify technology gaps, technical risk management, project cost estimation, technology transfer efforts, and supporting technical reviews
