A leading global sustainability consultancy is seeking a Principal Technical Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in Indianapolis. This role involves leading civil and geotechnical design projects, contributing to client relationships, and mentoring junior staff. Ideal candidates will possess strong technical expertise and a passion for advancing their engineering skillset in a collaborative environment.
ERM is seeking a Principal Technical Geotechnical Engineer with experience in Civil or Geotechnical design to work with our engineering design team led out of Charleston, West Virginia . In this role, you will provide design team leadership and project support for civil, stormwater, water management, geotechnical and/or similar related projects based on background and interest. These services are provided for clients locally, nationally and globally. This position provides opportunity for the successful candidate to participate in challenging projects across multiple industry sectors including the electric power (solar, wind and fossil fuel) industry, natural gas providers, regional and global manufacturing and chemical industry among others.
As a Lead Project Engineer, you will contribute your leadership, client relationship, and technical consulting skills to support the growth of ERM’s business and client base while networking with ERM's global engineering technical team and technology experts to share best practices across the industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level professional looking to advance their career toward Project Management and business leadership with a global environmental leader. For the Principal Consultant, Geotechnical Engineer (Principal Level) position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $120,963 – $139,115 (USD). An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. We also may have instances where employee’s fall outside of the range based on the factors noted above.This jobmay be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are NOT bonus eligible).
We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. (Casual employees and regular employees scheduled under 20 hours a week are not benefits eligible).
