Job summary

Busy Bees in North Phoenix is seeking a Lead Teacher to join our child care team. You will work with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, following NAC guidelines and AZ standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• 6+ months of experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Must be at least 18 years old and meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
• Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAC standards & AZ Early Learning Standards.
• Curating programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles.
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Partnering with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
