Qualifications

• Requires CDA, or an Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Experience as lead teacher or childcare role required.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum.
• Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress and document milestones.
• Communicate regularly with parents about growth and behavior.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides.
• Ensure compliance with Tennessee licensing requirements and center policies.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
