Job summary

AMIkids on Seabrook Island is seeking a Lead Teacher to ensure educational quality by coordinating assessments, teaching middle and senior high school classes, and supporting fellow instructors in curriculum and planning.

You will maintain educational plans, oversee documentation, and ensure compliance with state, local, and contractual education requirements, while serving as a positive role model and advisor to youth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an education field.
• State Teacher Certification in core subjects.
• Two years of experience working with youth.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate educational assessments per state/local requirements.
• Teach middle and senior high school classes.
• Assist instructors with lesson planning and curriculum development.
• Develop educational goals for each youth.
• Maintain documentation of courses and program activities.
• Ensure safety, supervision, and role modeling during class instruction.
• Review lesson plans for district compliance.
• Write program reports as required.
