Job summary

AMIkids Piedmont in Clinton, SC is seeking a Certified Lead Teacher to coordinate the educational assessment program and teach middle and senior high school classes. You will assist other instructors to improve teaching skills, establish educational plans, and maintain related administrative systems.

Responsibilities include completing educational assessments, developing goals for youth, and ensuring curriculum alignment with state, local, and contractual education requirements.

Qualifications

• State Teacher Certification in core subject areas.
• Two (2) years of experience working with youth.
• Bachelor's degree in General or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate educational assessment program and teach middle and senior high school classes.
• Assist other instructors in lesson planning, curriculum development, and teaching strategies.
• Develop educational goals for each youth and monitor progress.
• Ensure safety, supervision, counseling, and role modeling for youth during class instruction.
• Review lesson plans to meet local School District requirements and contractual education requirements.
• Maintain educational plans and program documentation as required.
