Job summary

KinderCare Education LLC is hiring a Lead Teacher in Illinois. You will lead, mentor, and implement the curriculum, creating a safe, learning-focused environment and partnering with parents to support children's growth.

The role requires CDA or NAEYC candidacy, 2–3 years ECE experience, CPR/First Aid, and English proficiency; salary ranges from $16.85 to $21.60 per hour, with a 15% Illinois Smart Start premium for centers participating in the program.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in your classroom.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a consistent way for each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners.
