Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom while implementing KinderCare's curriculum to meet each child's needs.

You will foster a safe, nurturing environment, partner with parents, and work with center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, building strong relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and corporate partners across our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education required or preferred.
• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy required.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
