Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor teachers, implement the KinderCare curriculum, and foster a safe, nurturing learning environment.

You will partner with parents to provide outstanding care and education, while supporting center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. Strong English communication and childcare credentials are required or pursued.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements (preferred).
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum consistent with the needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center’s success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
