Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies seeks a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor teachers, deliver KinderCare's curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing classroom environment.

You will partner with parents to ensure top-quality care and education, while supporting enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals across centers. Strong communication and childcare expertise are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills are required.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum with attention to each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and community partners.
