Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Illinois is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide young learners and support families daily. You will lead, coach, and mentor staff; implement our curriculum; and create a safe, engaging environment for play and learning.

You will partner with families to support each child's growth, collaborate with center staff to meet enrollment and accreditation goals, and promote high-quality early education across our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Active CDA Credential or eligible for NAEYC candidacy.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in line with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide best care and education.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners.
