KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Lead Teacher in Illinois. You will lead and mentor teachers, implement the curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing space for children. You will also partner with parents to support high-quality care and education.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and engagement with licensing authorities and the community. A CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy is required or pursued, with related certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and organizational skills required.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
