Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to inspire and guide teachers in the classroom, implementing the center’s curriculum while adapting to each child’s needs.

You will foster a safe, nurturing environment and collaborate with parents to ensure high-quality care and education, supporting enrollment goals and accreditation efforts. Physical activity and safety are integral to daily responsibilities, with a focus on communication in English.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills; ability to multi-task
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy
• Approved state trainer preferred
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to lift 40 pounds, work Indoors/outdoors
• English reading/writing speaking to communicate with children and parents

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare curriculum respecting each child’s needs
• Create a safe, nurturing learning environment
• Partner with parents to support child care and education
• Support center success with enrollment, accreditation and engagement
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community and corporate partners
