Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to mentor colleagues, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn. You’ll work with families to ensure high-quality care and education across our centers.

In addition to supporting enrollment and accreditation goals, you will collaborate with center staff and leadership to strengthen engagement and foster positive relationships with families and the community.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• State trainer accreditation is preferred.
• 2–3 years early childhood education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in ECE preferred; CPR/First Aid certified.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
