Job summary

KinderCare Education LLC is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide classrooms, mentor teachers, and deliver engaging early education aligned with our curriculum.

You will partner with families, support enrollment and accreditation goals, and model best practices in a safe, nurturing learning environment. The position requires CDA or NAEYC candidacy, state qualifications, 2–3 years of ECE, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to lift 40 pounds. Illinois pay range is $16.85–$21.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy required or approved state trainer preferred.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state qualifications for the role.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• English communication with children and parents.”

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
