Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Lead Teacher. You will mentor staff, implement the curriculum, and create a safe, engaging classroom. You’ll partner with families to ensure high-quality care and education, while supporting center goals and community relationships.

The role requires CDA or NAEYC readiness, a Bachelor’s in ECE, and physical ability to lift and work indoors/outdoors. Illinois Smart Start may apply.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum aligned with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support child education and care.
• Support center goals around enrollment and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, staff, and community.
