Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide a classroom, implement our curriculum, and nurture an environment where children learn, feel safe, and grow. You will mentor peers, collaborate with families, and support center goals in enrollment and engagement.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years in Early Childhood Education, a CDA or NAEYC candidacy, and CPR/First Aid certification. The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds and working indoors or outdoors.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• English communication with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners.
