Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor teachers, implement our curriculum, and foster a safe, engaging learning environment for children. You will partner with parents to ensure high-quality care and education, while supporting center goals around enrollment and accreditation.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and community collaboration, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences across sites.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy required/considered.
• State trainer approval preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Willingness to obtain State-specific qualifications.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum aligned with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide best care and education.
• Support center success by working with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers and community partners.
