Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring a Lead Teacher to guide preschool classrooms, create engaging learning experiences, and mentor fellow teachers in a caring, energetic environment in Merritt Island, Florida.

You will manage daily activities, ensure compliance with state licensing and company standards, build strong relationships with families, and promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Care for preschool children and promote their social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensure licensing guidelines and company standards are met.
• Communicate with enrolled and prospective families to support the center’s success.
