Job summary

Learning Care is hiring a Lead Teacher in Manassas, VA to guide learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers. This role supports the social, physical, and cognitive growth of preschool children with a focus on curriculum implementation and licensing compliance.

You will engage families to promote child achievement, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to a positive, supportive center environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and cognitive growth of preschool children in your class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensure licensing guidelines are followed.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support child achievement and center success.
