Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• A Teacher Level Permit is required.
• DRDP Rater Certification must be obtained within three months of hire.
• ERS Training within 6 months of hire for CDSS educators.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement the program following policy and standards.
• Develop a daily schedule supporting indoor/outdoor activities and motor development.
• Lead educators to engage in developmentally appropriate practice throughout the day.
• Build relationships with children and families and learn about their community.
• Lead family orientation and transition processes to help families acclimate.
