KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Lead Teacher in Illinois. You will lead and mentor teachers, implement the curriculum, and create a safe, engaging environment for children while partnering with families and center staff to achieve enrollment and accreditation goals.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements (preferred).
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents in English.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that aligns with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center success; collaborate with center staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
