Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to mentor fellow teachers, implement our curriculum, and provide a safe, engaging environment for young learners. You will partner with families and school leadership to support enrollment and accreditation goals, while ensuring high-quality care in daily operations.

You’ll work with a dedicated team across multiple sites, bringing educational excellence and compassionate care to children and families in our communities.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills in a fast-paced classroom.
• Active CDA credential or meeting NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred; state trainer certification preferred.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred; able to meet state qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in your classroom and model behaviors.
• Implement curriculum consistent with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support children’s education and care.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Build strong relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners.
