Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a Part-Time Lead Teacher to support the program director in hiring, training and managing LifeWise teachers. This role requires coordinating curriculum, leading teacher trainings, and maintaining classroom records to ensure LifeWise mission alignment.

Responsibilities include organizing training days, conducting regular meetings, observing teachers, and serving as a liaison for training opportunities with LifeWise Support Center. Non-exempt, hourly position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Plan Curriculum: determine lessons for each school year and ensure consistency with LifeWise mission.
• Train and Observe Teachers: organize training days, lead meetings, and observe teachers.
• Create and Maintain Records: manage class rosters, health concerns, and policies.
• Communicate: represent LifeWise teachers in leadership meetings and engage with volunteers.
• Other Duties: assist the program director as needed.
