Job summary

KinderCare Education LLC in Illinois is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor early childhood educators in your classroom while delivering KinderCare's curriculum. You will contribute to a safe, nurturing learning environment and partner with families to support each child's growth.

With a CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy, 2–3 years of ECE experience, and a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, you will help drive enrollment goals and center success alongside a passionate team.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy in progress.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to use a computer and assist with safety and learning activities.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to support their children's education.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities and partners.
