Job summary

KinderCare in Las Vegas seeks a dedicated lead teacher to mentor peers and deliver high-quality early childhood education on site. You will model best practices, implement the KinderCare curriculum, and create a safe, engaging classroom where children can grow and explore.

You will partner with families and center staff to support enrollment and accreditation goals, collaborate with licensing authorities as needed, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment every day.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy preferred; CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Be able to make physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
