Job summary

KinderCare is seeking a dedicated early childhood educator in Clinton County, PA to lead a classroom, mentor peers, and faithfully implement the center’s curriculum while meeting the needs of each child.

You will foster a safe, nurturing environment, collaborate with families, and work with center staff to support enrollment and accreditation goals. Strong English communication and safety certifications are expected.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Be able to make physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.
