Job summary

Joyoflearningcenter in Tampa, Florida is seeking passionate teachers for both full-time and part-time roles to inspire young learners through our play-based curriculum.

You will plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities promoting intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development; assist with feeding, diapering/nap time; and maintain open communication with families using our Classroom Management system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• DCF 45 hours; CDA credentials preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and participate in age-appropriate activities to promote development.
• Prepare children for kindergarten from infancy to school age using the provided curriculum.
• Assist in daily care such as feeding, changing, and nap time.
• Maintain open communication with parents and staff using Classroom Management system.
• Assist Lead Teachers in classroom management or fulfill requests from the Assistant Director or Director.

What you bring as a Team Member:

All Teachers plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities designed to promote the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of children. You will prepare children for kindergarten by easing them into organized education from infancy to school age using the provided curriculum. You will also assist in daily care such as feeding, changing, and nap time. You will maintain interactive and open communication with parents and other team members using our Classroom Management system. Teachers may also assist Lead Teachers in classroom management or in fulfilling requests made by the Assistant Director or Director.
