Job summary

Learn And Play Montessori School in Fremont, CA is seeking a full-time teacher to deliver a Montessori + STEM based curriculum and nurture children’s growth.

You will foster warm, patient learning, build strong relationships with families, and work with center staff to meet enrollment and engagement goals, while ensuring safety and developmental progress for each child.

Qualifications

• 12 core ECE units completed and infant/toddler coursework.
• CDA credential or equivalent is required.
• Ability to meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and play.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support enrollment, accreditation, growth and engagement with center staff.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
• Implement Learn And Play Montessori School Montessori + STEM curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.

• 12 core ECE Units & Infant/toddler course completed
• Child Care Developmental Associate (CDA) Credential
• Willingness to change diapers
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized
• Ability to work within regular operating hours
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment
