As a Childcare Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the early educational journey of our children. Your mission is to impart knowledge and instill a love for learning. We seek candidates with a strong understanding of effective teaching methodologies, especially in preschool education.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain documentation, reporting, and record-keeping
• Implement an Emergent Curriculum
• Support children’s emotional, physical, and behavioral well-being while fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Maintain attendance, health, and safety checks
• Care for children, including hygiene, learning, developmental activities, specialized programs, and redirection
• Organize classroom effectively
• Engage with parents and family members, addressing their needs
• Collaborate with professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists
• Assist children through transitions in and out of classrooms
• Maintain classroom ratios as per state regulations
• Participate in team meetings and workshops
• Keep management informed about children’s care and safety
• Support other daily center duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• CDA, Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in ECE
• Clear FBI, criminal, child abuse, and NSOR background checks
• Up-to-date Health Assessment / TB test
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency
• Strong teamwork, initiative, and problem-solving skills
