Job summary

NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene's BTBC Office of Epidemiology seeks a Lead Investigator-Complex Investigations to lead TB case review, data analysis, and contact investigations across NYC's residential and congregate settings.

Under general direction, you will develop tailored public health interventions, collaborate with city agencies and community partners, and help implement TB detection and prevention activities in high-risk communities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in public health or related field.
• Experience in epidemiologic investigation or public health research.
• Strong data analysis, attention to detail, and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze data in TB surveillance and case management systems.
• Lead TB exposure investigations in schools, worksites, and congregate settings.
• Develop data-driven, culturally competent public health interventions.
• Coordinate with city agencies, healthcare providers, and community partners.
• Evaluate interventions and conduct public health research.
